MLS Coordinator

The MLS coordinator is an ideal position for the service-minded individual who thrives on helping others succeed in a fun professional environment. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, friendly, responsible and will have a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining real estate listings for the company online and in hard copy form
  • Communicating regularly with REALTORS® and staff
  • Record-keeping and reporting
  • Staying aware of MLS bylaws and regulations and ensuring Kirk & Cobb remains in compliance with those rules at all times.
  • Managing front-office processes, paperwork/forms, schedules and lobby upkeep
  • Answering phones and greeting customers
  • Assisting with special tasks as needed
  • Assisting and sometimes stepping in for the closing officer in her absence (training provided)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrates ability to perform detail-oriented tasks efficiently and effectively with a reasonably low occurrence of errors.
  • Demonstrates effective organizational, time management and follow up skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Google Mail.
  • Demonstrates the ability and willingness to learn new skills, applications, and processes.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in an occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and can identify tasks needing attention and find ways to remain productive during quieter times.
  • Possesses the confidence to know when to ask for help.
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with others in order to provide the highest level of service to customers and colleagues.
  • 3 years working in customer service or support staff role
  • Real estate, closing, or title work experience preferred but not required.
