Liesel Kirk-Fink Inducted Into Baker U. Hall of Fame

Liesel Kirk-Fink will be inducted into the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame on October 5, 2012. Liesel, ’02, was a three-time All-American in track and field and cross country. Liesel is perhaps the most decorated runner in Baker University’s history. During her senior season, she placed fourth at the NAIA outdoor nationals in the 5,000-meter run, the culmination of a career that includes 11 school records. She was recognized as Baker’s female athlete of the year her senior year. On campus, she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and the parMentors. Currently, Liesel is active in her children’s school activities and community projects, serving on the board leadership training team for the Volunteer Center of Topeka and on the board of directors of the Friends of the Topeka Zoo. She is also president elect for the Topeka Area Association of Realtors.
